I like the message that this poem sends by the animals representing different characteristic found in humans such as the cunningness of the fox, which is shown through the attacking in the shroud of night, or the endurance of the fish, which is shown through how the length of time it has survived, but having these characteristic make us animals like the ones that represent them in the poem; it is the "keeper of the zoo", our consciousness, which allows these characteristics to be controlled and give the uniqueness of humans.
